Hole #3

The renown Robert Trent Jones II designed this breath-taking course that wraps its way along the northwest coast of Aruba. It is the only 18 hole Championship golf course on the island. It has amazing views on nearly every hole and the winds coming off the Atlantic Ocean make for very challenging shots throughout this course. It begins with a magnificent Par 5 that stretches up to 545 yards. One of the more difficult holes on the back nine is the Par 3 15th hole that requires a near perfect shot to carry water while avoiding a mountainous cliff on the left and more water on the right.

This is not the most difficult course that I have played as I have blogged about Tobacco Road, but the howling winds off the water make this a very challenging course. What makes this course special is the views that can be seen throughout your round. On the 3rd hole, you see the California Lighthouse as the backdrop for your tee shot and it is impressive.

Par 3 15th

Words cannot explain this course and the amazing views or the challenging holes. The par 3 15th is one such hole. Imagine attempting to place the perfect shot to reach this green without hitting the water or the cliff.
